Scarlett Vera will be one of six bands supporting ROCK FOR PORRIDGE Battle of the Bands for Uganda Children on July 31, 2010 at the Universities at Shady Grove in Rockville, MD. The event is being hosted by Journey's Crossing, and all proceeds will benefit its porridge outreach to the children of Uganda.
This event promises to be a night of great music to benefit a school in Uganda. All proceeds go towards the 190 Program, a food program that provides porridge to school children in Kabale, Uganda for an entire school year - 190 days. Join us in the fight against poverty! |
